Wonderful Fay was born June 25, 1918 in Wheeler, Texas. She passed away in Ukiah, December 11, 2015.
She was raised on farms in rural Texas in the Panhandle region. She experienced the Dust Bowl and the Great Depression.
She leaves her sister Mary Opie and Jim and her son Jerry Aikman and Marti, five grandchildren Adam, Amy Aikman, Anna Phillips, Blaney Barr and Ricky Aikman. She also leaves nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Aikman and their son Dave Aikman and her three brothers David, Elmer and Edward Hammer.
She was an amazing woman who will be missed beyond measure. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
