Obituary:
In Loving Memory of Lawrence Clifford Arms of old Hopland who passed away Friday morning April 8, 2016 with his loving wife and family by his side. Lawrence was born March 4, 1930 in Witt Springs, Arkansas to Henry Stevens and Bernetta Jane Arms.
At 2 years old Lawrence moved to Oklahoma in a Covered Wagon. He lived in Oklahoma for many years where he met the love of his life of 60 ½ years, Lillie Mae (Boyett) Arms. They moved to Willits, California in 1955. They lived around the area in several different places. They moved to Old Hopland in 1964, a year of bad flooding.
Lawrence was preceded in death by; his Parents, Henry and Bernetta Arms, five brothers: Leland, Hubert, James, Albert, and Curtis, two sisters: Lillie and Nellie, and one Daughter: Patty Joyce (Arms) Fansler.
Lawrence is survived by: His wife Lillie Mae Arms, three daughters; Melva Jean Pierce(James), Cheyenne, OK, Mary Lou Fertado, Ukiah, CA, Kathy Ann Bowen, Kalama, WA, a son: Dale Clifford Arms, Ukiah, CA, a sister, Gladis Shannon, Willits, CA and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
A viewing will be held Thursday, April 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Eversole Mortuary in Ukiah, CA. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 15 at the Hopland Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. in Hopland, CA.
