Obituary:
A Celebration of Life will be held for Joni Joy Arney on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Ukiah Grace Lutheran Church 200 Wabash Ave.
Born April 25, 1954 in Denver, Colorado, Joni moved to Ukiah in 1960. She received an AA degree in business and was a secretary for Ukiah Unified School District working at Frank Zeek Elementary for 37 years. Joni was proud of her family and her school family at Frank Zeek and UUSD. She will be remembered for her love and dedication to her family. Favorite quote: “Don’t stress the small stuff.”
Joni is survived by her sisters Barbara Felton, Colleen Rice, brothers Melzar (Mike) Barnes, Mark Felton and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Rice and sisters Mary Dittman, Connie Lampella and Angela Rice.
Memorial contributions to Phoenix Hospice are preferred by the family.
