Obituary:
Miron C. Bailey of Eureka, Ca. passed away in Ukiah, Ca. on Friday May 18, 2015 at a local care home. Miron was born January 17, 1922 in Canfield, North Dakota. He lived 30 years in Eureka.
Miron was an Electrician stringing power lines from city to city. Miron was married 3 times and having his only child with his first wife Alice, he was then married to LaVerne and was widowed by his third wife Haidy. For years he was active in cooking meals for the Moose Club.
Miron served his country in the U.S. Army receiving 2 Bronze Stars and 2 Purple Hearts. His family will remember his many interesting stories. He was a very courageous, generous and kind hearted man who loved to share his life with all who he cared about. He would often say “Let me tell you about a time…”
Miron is survived by his daughter Patricia Dabbs and her husband William of Ukiah, brother Eldon Bailey of Watertown, SD., grandchildren Rebecca Dabbs of Las Vegas, NV. and Christopher Dabbs and his wife Miranda of Ukiah, Ca., one great grandson Jason Dabbs.
