Barbara Louise Crabtree

Barbara Louise Crabtree (Pomo/Wailaki/Concow) was born November 8, 1954 in Ukiah, California and passed away on April 4, 2026 in Ukiah. Barbara is survived by her daughter Christina Tooley, son Michael Tooley, and her sister/best friend Lynn Crabtree all of Ukiah. She is survived by sisters Carol Day and Jackie Mitchell, and brothers Ray Crabtree, Roy Crabtree, and Allen Crabtree. She is survived by grandnieces Luna Enriquez and Evangeline Enriquez, both of whom she had a close bond. Barbara is also survived by dozens of cousins, nieces, nephews, and survived by her beloved cat Phoebe “Fifi” Crabtree. Barbara was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Allen Crabtree, her father Elbert “John” Crabtree, and sister Marilyn Higgins. It was Barbara’s wish to have no services and no public viewing. Barbara was cremated on April 10, 2026 at Eversole Mortuary.

Barbara’s children would like to thank their cousins Linda Aguilar and Sharon Ibarra for their love and support for their mom. They thank Barbara’s dear friends Myra Nevarez, Jeff Want Sr., and their spouses for their loving friendship with their mom. They would also like to thank all those who have reached out with their condolences, and thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Consolidated Tribal Health Project for the care provided to their mom over the years. Barbara loved the ocean, especially her day trips to Bodega Bay. This summer, Barbara’s ashes will be released into the ocean off the coast of Bodega Bay.
