Obituary:
Marjorie “Margie” F. Belt, age 87, died August 22, 2015 of natural causes. She was a long time rancher & artist who designed her own home in the late 1970’s.
Many knew her from the Ukiah Elks Lodge, Mendocino County Art Association, serval churches or the Potter Valley Garden Club.
Margie is survived by her loving family and friends, sister-in-law Bernadette, granddaughter Dawn, daughter Diana, great granddaughter Hallie, great grandson Hunter, granddaughter Johana, great grandson John, granddaughter Joy, Linda God daughter, great grandson Patrick, great grandson Stephen and granddaughter Wendy.
Graveside service will be held Saturday Aug 29, 2015 at 11 AM at the Potter Valley Cemetery on Westside Potter Valley Road Pastor Diane Knox will do a brief graveyard service. Following the service there will be a reception at the Potter Valley United Methodist Church 10075 Main Street. Desserts & refreshments plus a display of Margie’s art. Enjoy socializing with others who knew Margie.
