Our dear Mother, Blanche Orser Farnsworth, born December 20,1943, to Marcelino and Josephine Mejias, sadly passed away August 26th, 2023 at the age of 79. She was a wonderful mother who was a servant of God and committed to teaching her children about His great love. She often quoted Hebrews 13:1-2 which reads: ‘Let brotherly friendship continue, but don't forget to be friendly to outsiders, for in so doing, some people, without knowing it, have entertained angels’. She embodied this verse. She was always doing what she could to show kindness to strangers; whether sharing a kind smile, or stopping what she was doing to pray with someone, or providing practical needs like a meal, a coat, groceries, or simply a hug. She had a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh. She loved to sing praises to her Creator, taking walks by the lake with her family, and whistling and singing to the birds. She had a love for animals, especially dogs. She loved her children more than life itself and relentlessly prayed for her family to be safe and to live their lives for His kingdom. Her number one desire was to be reunited with her family on that glorious resurrection day.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and two husbands. She is survived by her three children, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, her brother, and sister.
She leaves an immense hole in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. But we have this blessed hope of one day soon being reunited with our beautiful mother. Till we meet again on that beautiful shore.
