Obituary:
Alton Wayne Bowers “Al” passed away unexpectedly in Napa, CA on Christmas Eve at the age of 69.
Al is survived by his wife of fifty years, Lee Bowers, his brothers Terry and Gary Bowers, his sons Bryan and Eric Bowers, and 3 grandchildren, Brad, Brett, and Brittany Bowers, as well as one great grandson, Aiden.
He is preceded in death by his father Alton Nathan Bowers and mother Janeal M. Bowers.
Al was born in Ft. Bragg, CA. He graduated from Anderson Valley High School in 1964.
Al was a hardworking, loyal, family man who loved to hunt, race boats, and could build anything you could imagine. He lived in Mendocino County his entire life and had plans of eventually retiring to his favorite getaway where he could hunt and enjoy the peaceful property that he and his family have camped at for many years.
A funeral is scheduled for 1pm on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Eversole Mortuary in Ukiah, with a reception to follow at Ukiah Garden Café. Pastor David Donnell will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Alton’s life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to Eversole.
