Obituary:
Betty Kathleen Bozarth, nee Taft, was born in Dustin, Oklahoma on August 4, 1937 to John and Eva Taft. Betty passed away peacefully at home on August 7, 2021, surrounded by family and her husband of 67 years, Harlin Dick Bozarth.
Betty is also survived by her three children, Gary, Cynthia, and Carrie (Thomas Brigham) and her grandson Clayton Carlson (Blair Johnson), great grandsons, Everett and Jaymin, sister Johnnie Gardner, and nephew Ron Gardner and many great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Eva, stepfather Dow Walker, and sister Myra Eyestone.
Betty and her family moved to Ukiah in 1957 where they raised their three children. Betty was a community volunteer and room mother for years, serving as President of the Alpha Beta chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and was Vice-President of Bozarth Logging Inc. She traveled the world with her husband, came to love golf, but eventually focused all of her life and love on her grandchildren.
