Obituary:
A memorial service for Dorothy H. Bray of Ukiah will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Ukiah Bible Church. Dorothy passed away at her home on Friday, February 26, 2016 with her family by her side. Born August 16, 1928 in Berkeley, Dorothy attended UC Berkeley and has resided in the Ukiah area for the past 40 years. She worked for Mendocino County Youth Project as a financier and resource grant writer. She enjoyed bridge, gardening, sewing and Women’s Bible Study Fellowship at Ukiah Bible Church. She was proud of her church, owned three businesses, and founded CANIC. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother and for her service to the Lord.
She is survived by her daughters Debbie Belfanti of Ukiah, Betsy Van Zandt of Santa Rosa, Ginger Cortez of Ukiah, son David Bray Jr. of Ukiah, grandchildren T. J. Belfanti, Matthew Belfanti, Ali Van Zandt, Melody Osburn, Emily Woodall, great grandchildren Cole, Tate, Mikaela, Keira, Gemma, Kenzie, A.J., Kylee, Justin, Tyson, Tristan and Tucker. She was preceded in death by her husband David W. Bray Sr., her parents Albert M. Hardie Sr. and Birtha Romer Hardie and her brother Albert M. Hardie Jr.
