Obituary:
A private family gathering will be held for Belinda Briggs of Ukiah who passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 with her sister by her side. Born May 4, 1964 in Orange, California, Belinda graduated Ukiah High School in 1982. She was active on the Drill Team for UHS, was involved in Relay for Life and enjoyed playing softball and camping. She worked as a care provider for the developmentally disabled and the elderly. She will be remembered for always being late, her contagious laugh and her cooking! She loved crafts, gardening, baking and most of all her family. She would always say: “Keep that smile Texas Angel” and “Everything’s gonna be alright.” Belinda is survived by her partner Monty Daniels, daughter Bobbi Jo Thomas, son Bryan Scott Brannon, sisters Becki (Tom) Armstrong, Kippi (RC) Cummins, brother Scott Briggs, nephews Justin Martin, Brett Martin, Ryon Briggs, Christopher Armstrong, Dawson Dayton, nieces Nicole Briggs, Bailee Dayton, Kamerin Dayton and her best friend, her dog, Bear. She was preceded in death by her mom and dad Bobbi and Ted Nicolay and her older sister Debi Martin.
