Betty LaVerne Giumelli Brown

On Sunday morning, October 18, 2009, Betty quietly left her life on earth to go and live with her Savior.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Donald Dale Brown, as well as her mother and father, Irene and Russell Giumelli.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia Ann Brown of Fresno, California, a brother Russell Lawrence Giumelli of Willow Creek, California, sister Ann Giumelli Wood of Ukiah and sister Charlotte Giumelli Grant and husband Harvey Grant of Willow Creek, California. Betty is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Betty was born May 20, 1933 in Redding, California. She married her high school sweetheart and they had one daughter.

Betty was a wonderful Christian woman who loved God and her family with her whole being.

In life she was a wonderful friend, neighbor and family member.

For many years Betty had a day care for children in her home. Each child became as precious as her own.

We will all miss our wonderful loved one but are so happy she is at peace, free from pain and at home with our Lord. Fly away our beautiful girl.

At Betty’s request there will be no services, but for those who wish donations can be made in Betty’s name to the Ukiah Senior Center or Hospice of Ukiah.
