Obituary:
Gloria Ann Burgess, 59 of Ukiah passed away peacefully on April 10th, 2015. Born Gloria Ann Moody February 25th, in Garberville CA to proud doting parents Ronald and Rosalee Moody.

Gloria was known and loved by many. Those who knew Gloria knew she didn’t live an easy life, she lived on her own set terms and by her own set of rules. Gloria was a free spirit, one who couldn’t and would not be told what, how, or when to do something or by anyone. If Gloria was told something couldn’t be done she would challenge that and find a way to do and get it done. Gloria was known as ‘Daddy’s Girl’, she always vowed to take care of her Daddy, now she is. Gloria loved her family and children immensely and she would do anything for them, even if it were wrong.

Gloria was predeceased in death by her father Ronald Moody, little sister Leona (Moody) Salisbury, and husband Henry Duane Burgess. Gloria is survived by her mother Rosalee Moody, Sisters Barbara Jean, Lorena Marie and the baby sister Roni Lynn. Gloria also leaves behind her four children Jason Jay Anderson, Victoria Lee Dalbec (Chad), Joelle Burgess, Kara Marzan (Elias), six grandchildren, EverAnn Burgess, Austin and Gavin Dalbec, Elias and Ember Marzan, and Arianne Grace, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many others who knew and loved Gloria.

Memorial services will be Saturday April 18th, 11a.m. at Eversole Mortuary with a celebration of life to follow at the Redwood Valley Lions park at 1p.m. Inurnment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
