Graveside services for Billy Gerald Chapman of Ukiah will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Ukiah Cemetery at 2 p.m. Billy passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at UVMC.
Born December 14, 1930 in Brokenbow, Oklahoma Billy served in the US Army. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and has resided in Ukiah for the past 50 years.
Billy is survived by his wife of almost 60 years Ella Faye Chapman of Ukiah, daughter Deborah Diane Chapman of Ukiah, sisters Ava Nell Shalita of Morgan Hill, Brenda Joy Eswein of Clovis, brothers Garry Chapman of Ukiah, Charles Cecil Chapman of Bakersfield. He was preceded in death by his parents Arvil and Opal, son Benny G. Chapman, sister Melda Rhode and brother Argile Chapman.
