Obituary:
Stephen Duane Cleveland, of Redwood Valley, son of the late James and Olene Cleveland, passed away in the presence of his loving wife, Colleen, on December 7, 2016 at the age of 68.
He leaves behind his step-daughter Danielle Haselip and husband Denny – step-granddaughters Kayla, Kelli, Amber, Kerinsa and Gracie. Great grandson, Landon of Idaho. His brother and fishing buddy Mark. Half brother James and family. Sister-in-law Cheryl Palmieri, Jody and Dick Stratford and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Connie.
He graduated from Richmond Union High School in 1966. In his youth he was on a football, baseball and roller hockey team. He loved to water ski and snow ski. Yes, he really did all these things. He was an electrician until he retired.
In his adult years he enjoyed living on his ranch in Lakeport and riding in rodeos. Yes, he was a cowboy!
He then gave up horses for auto crossing in his Corvette. He and Colleen were lifetime members of “Corvettes of Lake County” and loved all the members.
Steve loved the Lord and his church family at Clearlake Baptist Church. He enjoyed sharing his faith and looked forward to being with our Lord. He was proud to be a Christian. We miss him already.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11 am at Clearlake Baptist Church 555 North Forbes Street in Lakeport with a reception to follow. Eversole Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
