Lena “Lee” Cohen

Lena “Lee” Cohen of Ukiah passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2010 with her family by her side.
Born May 17, 1919 in the Bronx, New York, Lee had lived in the Ukiah area for the past 28 years. She was a treasure to her family and through her 25 plus years of service through the Foster Grandparent Program (Trinity School, Project Sanctuary and Nokomis School), she touched the lives of so many children in our community. She will be dearly missed.
Lee is survived by her daughter Betty Davis of Ukiah, brother Irwin Rutch of Margate, Florida, grandchildren Michele Davis of Las Vegas, Nevada and Paul Davis of Ukiah. She was preceded in death by her husband Nathan Cohen.
Memorial contributions to Project Sanctuary of Phoenix Hospice are preferred.
