Henrietta M. Dawe
Born February 23, 1923, she passed peacefully January 8, 2015. She attended school in Hopland until her marriage to Herbert Dawe on May 17, 1941. She worked at Hopland School as Asst. cook, then to cook, then custodian. She also cooked at Ukiah General Hospital. Henrietta was preceded in death by her parents William & Edna Davidson, her husband Herbert Dawe, Sr., five brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her son Herbert Dawe, Jr. (Wonnell), daughter Norma DeLong (Russ), son Tim Dawe (Linda), grandchildren, Chris Dawe, Roberta Brown, Michael Berry, Rachel Berry, Daniel Berry, Tami Doty and Lindsey Okulove, 13 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and sister Barbara Knittle. There will be a celebration of life in her home on February 22, 2015 from 10 am to 2 pm. In lieu of flowers the family prefers a donation to Hospice. Arrangements are under the direction of Eversole Mortuary.
