Dolores Fay Ellison

Dolores Faye Ellison passed away peacefully at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley Hospital on July 9th, 2022, at the age of 92.

  Dolores was born on February 3rd, 1930, in Holtville, California, the youngest of 11 children.  At the age of 15, Dolores married the love of her life, Sedath “Jerry” Ellison.  Dolores and Jerry were blessed with two daughters and one son.  They lived in various lumber towns throughout California for Jerry’s job. Dolores loved attending church, traveling, spending time with her family, and shopping for clothes; especially shoes, for which she had a special passion.  Her spunky and fun-loving personality is well remembered by all who knew and loved her.  

In 2007, Dolores was preceded in death by her loving husband Jerry of 61 years.  She is survived by daughters Bea Whitten and husband Rick, Jeannie Goforth and husband Ken, son Jerry Ellison, five granddaughters and their spouses, Kimberly and Jay, Kristi and John, Shelly and Dustin, Jennifer and Bryan, Julie, 31 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Jeanne and her husband, Walter Van Hoy, and many nieces and nephews.
