Betty Verdugo was born on Christmas Day 1938 on the Old Guidiville Rancheria to her mother Grace Williams. Betty was spunky even as a kid she grew up on the Rancheria being raised by her Grandma Clara Williams and Grandfather William Williams Sr along side her mother Grace. She enjoyed roaming the hills of old Guidiville and being with her Grandma and Grandpa.

Later on in life Betty became a mother to 4 children. From there on she was a hard worker always had a job and provided for her kids. She even liked having fun racing cars in first ever ladies powder puff races here at Ukiah racetrack along with being a avid bingo player.l throughout her life. She was one of a kind always liked to have fun. She always liked to take care of people. She became a caregiver, working in convalescent homes, here in ukiah where she worked for many years. Later on she worked for many people in ukiah, redwood valley area as a IHSS worker. Betty lived a great life many knew her as very stern and truthful lady but that’s what we all love about her she didn’t care what others thought of her she said what she wanted she was the boss. She loved her family very much. She was always there for them when anyone needed her. She had heart of gold. There will never be another like her no one can match her attitude her words and sayings she one of a kind with her dark sunglasses on every where she went that was her signature.
