Obituary:
Norma Jean Harmer of Ukiah passed away Aug 6th with family by her side. Norma was born Sept. 3rd 1940 in San Bernardino CA. She was raised in Southern CA. where in 1957 she married her High School Sweetheart. She is predeceased by her Husband Gerald Dan Hewitt, son William Glenn Hewitt and grandson Michael Hunter. She is survived by her sister Gerry Roeder of Nebraska and sister in law Elinor Harmer of Yucaipa Ca. She has two daughters and son in laws of Ukiah Kathy and Dennis Osborn and Amy and Juan Novoa.
Her grandchildren: Amy Campbell, Kyle Hunter, Holly Hewitt and Orion Novoa. Greatgrandchildren: Alicia,Thomas, Evelyn and Anthony.
Norma studied Religion at The Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, CO. She finished her degree at Point Loma College in San Diego, CA. In 1983 she moved to Ukiah to be the minister of The Church of the Nazarene. She loved music, playing the piano, singing, worshiping and her church Family. She lived her life in service of her Lord and now she walks with him.
