A Celebration of Life will be held for Carol Ann Hartje of Redwood Valley on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 12 noon at the Broiler Steak House in Redwood Valley.
Born December 13, 1946 in Merced, California, Carol passed away at her home surrounded by her family after a long battle with pancreatic cancer on Friday, July 21, 2017. Carol married Rick Hartje February 21, 1965. They have resided in the area for the past 45 years. Carol worked as a waitress and in her favorite occupation as a mother.
Carol is survived by her husband of 52 years, Rick Hartje, daughters Karen Lownes (Randy), Jill Hartje, son Jason Hartje (Tracey), sisters Susan Danforth, Diane Richardson, Candy Montalvo, brothers Jim Montalvo, Greg Montalvo and grandchildren Vincent and Rachel Armanino and Mason Brooks.
