Obituary:
Andrew Lee Howard, 48 years old, of Ukiah California passed away in his sleep on May 27, 2016.
He was born in Palm Springs, California on June 2, 1967. He graduated from Ukiah High School and attended Mendocino Community College.
Andrew is survived by his loving and deeply saddened parents and family: Roger and Sonja Howard, his wife Sofia Alvarez-Howard and his step-daughter Brillith Alvarez-Howard. His sisters, Stephanie Visser and Jennifer Howard-Corson, his two nephews, Seth and Hayden Lee and many wonderful Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Andy’s immense spirit, infectious grin that always made you wonder what prank was about to befall you and his “hey buddy,” followed by a warm and true embrace will be missed and never forgotten by all who knew and loved him. He adored the great outdoors and trekking in the mountains and so his ashes will be scattered in Desolation Wilderness in the majestic Sierra Mountains, where he can watch over all who venture there seeking peace and comfort.
