Obituary:
Scott Maynard Ivey, 61, of Ukiah passed away on Monday, October 26, 2009 with his family present. Scott was born in Ukiah on October 16, 1948.
Scott moved from Ukiah at the age of 25 and moved back in 1997.
Scott loved life and his family, the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing and making jewelry. He coached at softball at Mendocino College and the Jr. Olympics.
Scott had a heart transplant in 1999 and had recently celebrated his 10 year 2nd birthday.
Scott is survived by his wife Annette Ivey of Ukiah, daughter Sara Ivey, son Matthew and his wife Andrea Ivey, brother Dennis Ivey. He was preceded in death by his parents Moe and Mid Ivey.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Ukiah Cemetery with Father Raul Lemus officiating.
Memorial contributions in Scott’s name may be made to Stanford Medical Hospital.
