In early morning April 2, 2026 after a furious battle with Prostate Cancer Jim Johnson went to be with his Lord and Savoir. Surrounded by family, friends and an abundance of love. Jim was known by many and will be deeply loved and missed by all who were fortunate to be in his life.
Jim was a devoted man of faith and a member of Grace Lutheran Church. He served as a Deacon and Elder and his unshakable faith carried through his life all the way to his last breath.
He lived out his faith through kindness and generosity and service to others. He was the founder and owner of Johnson’s Custom Landscaping where he loved working with his family Jesse, Chuy and Jose. Jim had great work ethic, integrity and took pride in all his projects. His beautiful works are spread across all three counties for all to enjoy well into the future.
Jim was born on October 25, 1954 to C.M. and Billie Johnson. He was a devoted brother to Cosette Enzler (Ed), Johnny Johnson, Lori Harris (Dan), Bonnie Edwards, Tom Johnson, Ted Johnson, Kurt Johnson, Melissa Smith (Gary) and Cindy Bettinelly (Jid).
He is survived by his Children Summer Morgan (Gene), Scott Johnson (Shannon), Jesse Johnson, Sarah Walker and Lacy Cubberly (Billy). His beloved grandchildren Leetta Slusser (Damion), Dillion Cubberly, Steven Johnson, Bella Cubberly and Uriel Johnson. Great Grandchildren Jaxston, Jamison, Remington and Arron and an abundance of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Jim enjoyed golfing especially with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing with his best friend and brother Kurt. One of his biggest joys in life was helping others whether it be abouts plants, landscaping questions or just general advise you could always count on Jim.
Jim’s body was laid to rest on April 8, 2026 at a private ranch cemetery in Roseburg Oregan on a beautiful hillside overseeing a large valley.
