Obituary:
Mary June Joslin was born June 19, 1934 in Inglewood, California. She has resided in the Ukiah area for the past 33 years. She was a caregiver and a homemaker. Mary June’s life was spent creating memories with each and every person she came in contact with. These memories, like unique gems on an ever twisting string of life and love. Memories that she smiled more then she frowned, she loved more than she hated and she often shared more than she should have. It wasn’t till her kids were older that they realized that sharing your life story with a stranger wasn’t the norm. Sadly on January 7th Mary slipped away amongst her dreams and the last bead was strung. Now it is the duty of her friends, family and loved ones to carry what she has created and remember her as she was.
Mary June is survived by her daughters Mary Ann Joslin of Ukiah, Lori Joslin of Santa Rosa, sons Dennis Joslin of Petaluma, Don Joslin of San Anselmo, Dan Joslin of Colorado, sister Jan Waters (Pitts), brothers Lonnie and Eddie Pitts, 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Joslin and sisters Barbara Jean Gerk (Pitts) and Elaine Pitts. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens next door to Eversole Mortuary.
