Obituary:
Valda Y Kinney was born in Iowa on December 14, 1933. She passed away in Ukiah, California on November 20, 2021. Valda was a surgical nurse from Iowa Falls, Iowa and Hayward, Ca until she moved to Ukiah. She was then a stay-at-home mom and worked and helped in her husband’s, Larry L. Kinney, D.C., chiropractic office. She is most proud of her family, being a RN, master flower arranger, and her church. She was very involved in the Ukiah Garden Club. Val was also involved in the Lions Club, played golf, and she was an honorary member of the Sun House. Val was always busy with her Faith Lutheran Church in Ukiah. Valda will be remembered for her love of her family, and how she loved entering her flower arrangements in the fair. She is survived by her three sons Steve Kinney of Lapine, Or, Mike Kinney and Scott Kinney, D.C. of Ukiah, Ca, her grandchildren Moriah, Josh, Tyler, and Haylee Kinney, and Jeramie Nolan. Sister-in-Law Mary Higgley and family. She is predeceased in death by Dana Kolling from Dallas, Texas.
