Obituary:
Harold Thomas Knutson passed away on Tuesday October 19, 2010 after a short illness. He leaves behind his wife Margaret Knutson, of Ukiah, three daughters Suzie McCoy of Yucaipa, CA, Heidi Brannon of Marble City, OK, Kathy Michaels of Willits and five grandchildren. He was known by those who loved him as Tom. He was 67.
He was born to Jasper Knutson and Dagny Gunderson in Grand Forks, ND. In 1949 he and his family moved to California. Since then Tom has considered California and his cabin in Montana as home.
Tom enjoyed animals and nature in general, provoking him to build his own log cabin, with his own hands, in Montana. There he was his happiest, watching the moose, elk and his favorite ground squirrel, “Zoro”.
He will be deeply missed by his family, as well as his church family at Calvary Baptist. Tom will not be forgotten, but remembered for the man he was to God and the loyalty he had for his loved ones.
A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Ukiah on Saturday October 23, 2010 beginning at 11:00 am.
