It is with love filled hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Dunn Jones, truly an Angel on Earth, pure in heart and in faith.
Margaret was born on December 28,1931, she lived a long and faithful life, and left for her eternal life in Heaven on August 11, 2025.
Margaret lived each day praising the Lord. Her faith kept her strong and graced us all with her shining example of selflessness.
Margaret graduated from Berkeley University in 1962 with her Teaching Degree and happily taught kindergarten over the next thirty years.
As she began to deliver Meals On Wheels, she would often be recognized by her now grown up students with love and joy. She also volunteered at Plowshares where plaques in her honor have been hung for Volunteer of the Year. She has met many terrific friends and served the local community for over 30 years.
She learned to play the guitar and enjoyed playing the piano and singing at church as well as for the residents of rest homes. She gave of herself and her time with deep humility. A beautiful soul who cared for those in need, Margaret supported very many charities over the decades including those for children, pets, military, feeding the hungry, all types of foundations for the study for and prevention of diseases and illnesses, and also for those who were down on their luck but living with hope and for change. Survived by one daughter and nine grandchildren, Margaret was also a great and great-great grandmother. She had survived the passings of her husband in 2017, and her two other children, her son in 2015 and her daughter in 2023.
'Your life is a blessing, your memory a treasure you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure'.
