Obituary:
Frank Milone passed away on Thursday October 28th 2021 just shy of his 96th birthday. Frank lived his entire life in Hopland, CA where he was a farmer and rancher.
During WWII he was a paratrooper with the 505th Paratrooper Battalion. After serving in the military he came back to Hopland where he met and married his wife of 74 years Polly. Together they raised four children; Sandy, Linda, Jim and Hoss.
Frank was very involved in the community serving on the Hopland and Ukiah Unified School Boards and the Russian River Flood Control District. He served as the District Deputy for the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and was an active member of the Ukiah Lodge.
Frank loved to hunt and fish, play cards, and was a serious practical joker. No one was safe from his shenanigans. His quick wit and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Polly, sister Della Gibson, his children and their spouses, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his daughter Sandy Russell. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite local charity. That would make him happy.
At his request a private graveside service for family will be held at the Hopland Cemetery on November 19th
