Surrounded by family, Lorna Joy Moore, 83, left this earth and went to the Lord on December 8, 2016 after a long illness.
Lorna and her beloved husband of nearly 45 years, Jerry, lived in Laytonville for 26 years. Lorna worked at the Savings Bank of Mendocino County in Laytonville for many years. They were both long time members of the Laytonville Community Christian Church, where she loved to sing. Born in Flint, Michigan, Lorna was the youngest of six children and only girl.
Besides Jerry, Lorna is survived by her loving children and grandchildren; Julie Mason (Tom), Heather Mayer (Eric, Austin), Jennifer Chervenka (Jim, Taylor), Mark Moore and Gary Moore (Linda), Theresa, Brian (Shauna). She is survived by her remaining brother, Ronnie Gushwa (Jo). there are to be no services
