A Celebration of Life will be held for Jeanie Moroni on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the home of Mary and Dan Thornton Powerhouse Rd in Potter Valley.
Born October 23, 1935 in Ukiah, Jeanie passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016. A lifelong resident of Ukiah, Jeanie was a housewife, mother, grandmother, waitress and also worked for a cleaning service. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her warm smile, pancakes and sense of humor.
Jeanie is survived by her sons Thomas “Tommy” Moroni of Medford, OR, Michael Moroni of Saratoga Springs, NY, David Moroni of Laytonville, sister Donna Henning of Florida, grandchildren Joe Moroni of Missouri, Madison Moroni of New York, Chappy and Mason Moroni of Michigan, Tommy Moroni of Laytonville, Sean and Kyle Moroni of Medford, OR, Lisa Moroni of Hopland and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Moroni in 1968, son Robert “Bobby” Moroni, sisters Elizabeth “Beth” Guntly, Thelma Banks and brothers Bud and Patrick Banks.
