Jeannette Lou Nelson
A Celebration of Life will be held for Jeannette Lou Nelson on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Autumn Leaves, 425 E. Gobbi St. Afterward she will be “Resting” with her daughters in Nevada. Jeannette passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016 at UVMC with her family by her side. Born July 11, 1942 at her family home in Yellowstone Township, ND, Jeannette went through the 8th grade and later received her CNA certificate. She was an Activities Director and CNA licensed care giver. She has resided in Ukiah for the past 25+ years. She enjoyed traveling and swimming. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity to others.
Jeannette is survived by her daughters Julie of Fernley, NV, Janene of Reno, NV, sister Eleanor Jepson of Sparks, NV, 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and her “loving friend, Ray.” She was preceded in death by her mother and father, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Eversole Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
