Patrick Glenn Taylor passed away at home, the end of June, 2025 in Ukiah, California, at the age of 70. Born on September 20, 1954, to Glenn and Betty Taylor, Patrick spent most of his life in Ukiah, growing up on the German family’s (his mother’s side) grape ranch in Talmage. He attended Ukiah schools, followed by earning his Degree in Biology from Sonoma State University. He subsequently studied Nursing, becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Pat worked locally in healthcare for many years, at both Ukiah General and Adventist Hospitals. He also was the Family Practice Primary Provider for many of us.
Patrick had a love for travel, seeing much of the world over the years. Pat spoke Spanish quite well, visiting and immersing himself in Mexico and Guatemala. He also had an appreciation for sports cars, owning many cool vehicles. He valued his independence and enjoyed exploring the open road, whether by plane or behind the wheel. Pat was intelligent, capable and had a penchant for doing things his own way. He was definitely his Mother’s son! Pat wasn’t always easy to get along with, but those who were close respected his honesty and sharp wit. He was unapologetically himself, living life on his own terms.
Patrick leaves behind sister in law Jackie Taylor, niece and nephew Samantha and Ezra. Also survived by his aunt Donna German and cousins John, Sharon, Roger and Michael. Both of his parents predeceased him, as well as his two brothers, Gordon and Bruce Taylor.
Pat will be buried in the family plot in Ukiah at the Russian River Cemetery. A memorial at his gravesite will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 10:00 am.
