At his request no services will be held for Paul L. Hage of Ukiah who passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022 with his family by his side. Born March 11, 1938 in Minot, North Dakota, Paul received his Bachelor of Arts Degree and credentialing from San Francisco State University. He married Norma Jackson on June 15, 1957. They lived in Ukiah for 14 years before moving to Lake County for an additional 47 years, returning to Ukiah 6 years ago.  Paul was a public school teacher for 43 years, ending his employment in education teaching history at Clear Lake High School in Lakeport. He also coached and refereed/umpired multiple sports. He loved and supported his Bay Area sports teams (the Giants, the Forty Niners, and the Warriors) along with the Pac 12 sports teams. Paul was most proud of being a devoted family man and of his lengthy teaching career. He will be remembered for being a devoted husband, father and grandfather who addressed situations with humor, loyalty, kindness, and compassion.

Paul is survived by his wife of 65 years, Norma Hage, daughters Kim (Tommy) Burke and Becky (Derek) Brodnansky, his beloved grandchildren Logan and Cole Brodnansky and Lexi and Jake Burke and his sister Shirley Ray. He was preceded in death by his son Donny Hage and six siblings.

Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association 2290 N First St #101, San Jose, CA 95131 are preferred.
