On March 8, 2023, Raymond Michael Denny passed away peacefully. Raymond was born July 12, 1947. He was 75 years old. He is preceeded in death by his father, Raymond Otho Denny, mother Sophia Denny, and brother George Denny. He is survived by his step children, Clint Andregg and wife Vanessa, and Dannette Cruz and husband Stephen. His grandchildren, Rodney Hiatt Jr., Cian Cruz, Emma and Gavin Andregg. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Denny and wife, Carolyn, Darryl and Linda Denny, sister Cheryl and husband Bob Anderson, and sister in law, Debbie Denny. Also his nephew Brian Denny, and nieces, Michaela Denny, Adriane Bray, and Monica Anderson. He was born and raised in Ukiah, and graduated from Ukiah High in 1965. Soon after he was drafted to the U.S. Army, and served in Vietnam as PFC Raymond Denny of the 101st Airborne Division. Raymond was very proud of his service to his Country. He spent most of his working years as a Glazier for Builder's Glass and Supply in Ukiah. Raymond was an avid camper, fisherman, and hunter. His favorite hunting spot was, Umpcompagre Plateau, just outside of Grand Junction, Colorado. his favorute fishing spots were, Kelly Creek and Snake River in Idaho. Ray was enjoying his retirement years. Before his dogs, Reggie and Max passed, he would walk them everyday. He took many road trips to Idaho and Arizona to visit family. He was always at his grankids' sports games. Ray will be missed by his family, and the many friends he made throughout his lifetime. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
