Renee John

Renee John passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026.

Renee was known for being as amazingly talented Beader and teacher. She was a very hardworking woman throughout her life. She loved attending Big Times, playing bingo, and spending time with family and friends sharing stories and laughter. Renee especially loved listening to others stories and always had many stories of her own to tell. She had a special love for children, enjoyed playing Tetris, and never missed watching her favorite soap operas.

Renee was preceded in death by her grandparents, Everett Ray and Ruby Feliz Pollard; mother, Diane John; her father, Godfrey Luke John Sr.; her aunt Rita Ray; her uncle Donald Ray; her brother, Godfrey John Jr.; and her nephew, Jeremy John.

She is survived by her sisters, Rachel Hansen, Koeya John, and Lisa Want; her brothers, Brian Want, Adrian John, and Howard John; her godson David Steele, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Renee's memory will live on through the stories shared, the beadwork she created, and the love she gave to those around her.
