Obituary:
On Thursday, May 13 2021, Pamela Ann Rowney, loving wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend, passed away peacefully at home in Ukiah, California. Pam was born in Spokane, Washington December 23, 1948 to Elaine and William Towson, and grew up primarily in Sacramento, California, close with her brother Billy. As a young adult she enjoyed scuba diving and graduated from Humboldt State in 1972. On September 2, 1972 she married Christopher Paul Rowney, with whom she shared more than 48 years. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Billy. She is survived by Chris and their children Eric, Rebecca and Rachel. In her recent years she found joy spending time with her 4 grandchildren and the happy anticipation of another one on the way. Pam’s other interests in life included canning with her best friends, cooking, crocheting and baking for her family, and hosting and attending holidays with family. Very much a source of strength for her family and a delightful, thoughtful and generous friend, she loved gardens, cats, dogs, humming birds, lighthouses, travel, wine, games, period piece movies and cookbooks with a story. Pam was, and will always be, deeply loved and appreciated by all who knew her.
