Sally Jolleen Jensen

Sally Joleen Jensen died peacefully among friends at her Ukiah home on October 6, 2023 after a long, brave battle with cancer.Sally was born in San Diego on January 16, 1956. She moved to Ukiah nearly 50 years ago and for most of those years worked alongside her late husband John Jensen at the Oak Valley Nursery until his death in 2015. Sally had a passion and talent for plants, flowers and gardening. For years she shared her extensive botanical knowledge with friends, the nursery’s staff and its many customers.

Always a dog lover, Sally was a friend to all dogs whether they belonged to her or not. She protected and provided for her dog friends with a deep unconditional love and commitment. They clearly all loved her in return.Sally was deeply spiritual and an avid reader of the Bible but at her request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Sally had a big, outgoing personality and caring heart. She will be remembered by friends for her generosity, sharp wit and her love for nature.
