Sharon A (Hale) Whiteaker

IN LOVING MEMORY

July 22, 1946 – July 7, 2026

Sharon Ann (Hale) Whiteaker, 79, of Caldwell, Idaho, went to be with her Lord on July 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on July 22, 1946, in Modesto, California to Red Hale and Bonnie D. Hale, Sharon moved with her family to Ukiah, California in the 1950s. She lived in Ukiah and Mendocino County for many years before moving to Idaho in 2006 and making Caldwell her home. Throughout her life, she remained deeply centered on faith, music, and family. A devoted servant of the Lord, she shared her musical gift on the piano for decades, filling homes and sanctuaries with praise.

An avid sports fan, Sharon also played softball for many years, creating lasting memories and making countless lifelong friends along the way. Her greatest joy was cheering loudly from the sidelines at every event and game for her children. In Nampa and Caldwell Idaho, she gave back as a volunteer Foster Grandparent in local schools, where the kids adored her and affectionately knew her as “Grandma Sharon”

Sharon is survived by her loving children, Andrew Whiteaker (Julie) and Angela Whiteaker (Ray) ; her cherished grandchildren Matthew and Sienna; her sister, Gina Clark and her family; as well as many extended family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Red and Bonnie Hale.

Graveside services will be held October 17th at noon at the Potter valley cemetery in Porter Valley, California
