Norma Jean Singer
Norma Jean Singer of Ukiah passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at her home with her loving family by her side. Norma requested no services be held after her passing.
Born November 29, 1929 in San Francisco, Norma has resided in the Ukiah area for over 45 years. She worked as a legal secretary in Ukiah for many years; a job she enjoyed. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Ukiah Women’s Golf Club. Norma enjoyed gardening, cooking and knitting afghans for family and friends.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Singer. Norma is survived by her children Richard and (Marlene) Carson of Santa Rosa, Lynn and (Wayne) Carlson of Santa Rosa, Eric Carlson of Ukiah, Donald and (Jan) Singer of Cupertino, and Kathy McMinn of Willits. Her grandchildren Jason, Ericia, Alisha, Taj, Chris, and Brian. Her great grandchildren Andrea, Diego, Olivia, Nyah, Tyler, Ian and Nico.
