Obituary:
Norman E. Stenback, Age 93, formally of Ukiah, passed away on December 13, 2020 in Hamilton Montana. He was born October 15, 1927 in Portland Oregon. The son of the late Florence and Raymond Stenback. Norm grew up in Fortuna, CA, where he graduated from Fortuna High School in 1945. He then attended San Jose State University and Graduated with a business degree.
After a short time employed with McCormick Spice Company, he enlisted in the Marine Corp where he spent most of his time as a First Lieutenant in Korea. While going through OCS in Quantico, he met his wife Jerri and they were married in 1955. After his military service, he worked 34 years for McCormick Spice Co. He then became involved in the timber industry for a short time. Norm and Jerri traveled extensively all over the world.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine (Jerri) and his sister Carol Meyer. Survivors include his sons Richard (wife Debbie), Lawrence and granddaughter Macaela. A private family ceremony followed by interment will be held at the Ukiah Cemetery on a future date. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
