Margaret Virginia Ashford (Stewart) passed away September 20, 2009 at home with her family present.
Margaret was born December 22, 1921 in Virginia and had lived locally for the past 63 years.
Margaret was a homemaker. She was proud of being a friend to those in need, a master gardener and the best country cook.
Margaret’s family will remember her as a great person that helped and served many. “She will be dearly missed”.
She is survived by her sisters Patricia Allen of Oregon, Helen Page and Lorene Shaffer of Bristol, Tenn., and Gladys Wolff of Colorado, brothers Ben Murray of Castroville, Ca. and Samuel Murray of Churchill, Tenn.
Private graveside services were held on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the Ukiah Cemetery.
