Obituary:
Joseph W. Strong passed peacefully on January 20, 2012. Joe was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1926 and was 85 years old. Joe served in WWII, was a resident of Ukiah since 1946 and retired from Masonite. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Gloria (Martinelli) Strong and children: Christine (Strong) Peterson, William F. Strong, Susan (Strong) Atherton and Dorothy (Strong) Davis. Joe was a proud grandfather and great grandfather. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4th at 1 p.m. at Eversole Mortuary. Memorial contributions in Joe’s name may be made to Phoenix Hospice of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
