Obituary:
Terri Lynn Vagt, age 62, died February 13th, 2018 of natural causes at her home in Ukiah. Terri was born August 23rd, 1955 at the Old General Hospital. She graduated from Ukiah High School in 1973.
During high school she met the love of her life, Andy Vagt. They were married November 30th, 1975. Terri and Andy shared 26 years of love together until his passing in 2001.
Terri loved animals and cared for any animal she came into contact with. Her love of animals was the reason she and Andy built and operated, Best in Show, a local boarding and grooming kennel for over 20 years. Together they built a safe and happy place for dogs and cats to stay while their owners were away.
Terri was a devoted mother and grandmother and is survived by her son Nathan (Jenny) Vagt, daughter Megan (Colby) Barron, Grandchildren Chase Vagt, Brynn Vagt, Colton Vagt, Tyler Barron and Georgia Barron. Also survived by her mother JoAnn Wright(Miller), brother Stu (Kathy) Miller, brother Brian (Laura) Miller and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service in her honor will be held Wednesday, February 21st, 2:00pm at the Ukiah Cemetery
