Emily Valentini

April 8, 1926 - April 8, 2016

Ninety years to the day went into the making of Emily Valentini. Emily was born in Tacoma Washington and in 1951 married her beloved Albert who passed way in 1993. As a new bride Emily moved to Ukiah and worked at various jobs until she settled into the district attorney's office from which she retired after 30 years. Emily and Albert were very active in County / State politics and many local community organizations. Never shying away from expressing her opinions, Emily engaged her life in a way she felt would benefit others. Emily leaves behind many family and friends as well as her canine companion Cosmo. She will be remembered for her offers of evening cognac, her amazing lemon tree and her numerous canine companions.

A viewing will be held in Ukiah Tuesday April 19th at the Eversole Mortuary from 5pm to 8pm. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday April 20th at 11am at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church in Ukiah. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to St. Mary's Church or the Ukiah Senior Center where Emily volunteered.
