Obituary:
Mary Louise Villanova, 81, of Redwood Valley passed away at her home with her family present on Friday, April 9, 2010. Mary was born January 7, 1929. She had lived in Redwood Valley for the past 63 years.
Mary was a homemaker, taking care of her family while also running a grape ranch. Her family will remember her kind and loving mannerisms, cooking Italian cuisine, Ravioli, Pesto, etc, her wonderful green thumb for growing plants of all types, flowers, herbs and vegetables.
Mary is survived by her daughter Brenda J. Hargis and her husband Ray, son Terry Ray Villanova and his wife Kathy, brother John Meador, grandchildren Tanya Aalboe, Dawn Mayer, Shane Villanova, Abby Schwahn, Bridget Prince, Shelia Hargis, Jennifer Hayes and 12 great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Remo Villanova, father John Byrd, mother Suzie Ray, 2 children Michael and Joe, sister Jackie Schmidt and granddaughter Monica Mayer.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 from 3:00 PM till 8:00 PM at the Eversole Mortuary. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Ukiah Cemetery.
Memorial donations in Mary’s name may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
