Obituary:
Jewel Mae Wymer passed away in Ukiah on Thursday, June 5, 2014.
She was born in Pine, Missouri, on January 4, 1918, but lived most of her life in California.
A longtime resident of Ukiah and Upper Lake, she is the mother of Mickey Strong of Upper Lake and Arlene Philbrick of Ukiah.
Her family will remember her by her loving spirit, generosity, and love of fashion.
She is survived by her daughters Mickey and Arlene; her grandchildren Doug, Duane, and David Strong, Verisa Reynolds, Kimberly Hammond, and Karen Mandell; ten great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Russell Edward "Gus" Wymer, her granddaughter Kelly JoAnn Philbrick, and her Darlin', Camilo "Rocky" Roxson.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Eversole Mortuary. A graveside service will follow at the Ukiah Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to Hospice of Ukiah or Meals on Wheels of Lakeport.
